My current classes are donation-based and taught online. Instead of charging a set tuition rate for registration, I hope you will donate as you are able. No one will be turned away for financial reasons.

Calming SpaceNew class: In this class for ages 14-21, we get to know each other while creating and practicing calming tools using things already in our homes. We begin with breathing practices grounded in Tai Chi and Qi Gong, then chat while we make visuals, find and share comforting objects, and color or journal.
This online class welcomes all teens and young adults, but I hope it will be especially useful to BIPOC and/or LGBTQ teens and young adults seeking space held by someone with similar identities. This class does not replace therapy and other support systems, but aims to add another layer of support and skills to existing toolboxes. Tai ChiI offer Tai Chi Kung Fu Fan classes through Healing Within Acupuncture & Wellness Studio. The form has six sections and is set to music. Tiny Tai ChiReturning to White Bear Lake soon! It's never too early to learn tai chi and calm down skills. Tiny Tai Chi is the Twin Cities' only tai chi class for potty trained kids age 4-6. We are currently on break, but will return to the studio in the future. This class teaches the first half of the Yang style 24-form. In addition to practicing the form itself, each class session we read a story and make up body movements to go with deep breathing. Check back for updates on our return to the studio! |
